Attention in the pits:
As 2024 is starting to wind down, Solo nationals has been completed and the heat has subsided in favor of some fantastic fall weather…. And once again, it’s MidSouth SCCA election season. This year, I’d like to start by thanking Ken Park for all of his hard work, which was often behind the scenes and enabled the club to successfully host all the fun activities for us to participate in.
The board is always looking for suggestions on events new locations or input on how we can improve and keep our events benefiting all of you. Please don’t hesitate to let us know your thoughts, or if you would like to volunteer to help in any way. What do you want now?
Many ballots are still outstanding, remember to send yours in, or vote in person November 12 at Garibaldi’s UoM location.
Results for August 11 event
We had a beautiful day for August in the MidSouth. Maybe a little cloudy in the morning but Blue Skies in the afternoon. I hope everyone had fun! And special thanks to Ken for the truck and William for the shade sand bags. We had the added treat of being able to witness the downing of the SBLS elevator. And of special note, the course designer promises the next course will NOT require sawing!

10th annual RMHC part two…
So you wanted to go to the 10th annual RMHC autocross and car show but got distracted or worried that it might rain. Well the rain held off almost until four and those that made it seemed to have fun! Cones were hit, the lots were paid for, even with the car show lot left empty… You still have a chance to help with this great cause, just visit our square site and donate. Do it today as we will be passing all of these funds on to RMHC of Memphis shortly.
